Strawberry  or Peach Jam

4 cups strawberries, sliced                    4 cups sugar                 3 teaspoons lemon juice Mix together.  Boil 10 minutes.  Let stand overnight.  Boil 10 minutes next day, pour into jars and seal. 

Pesto

2 C packed fresh basil ¼ C butter melted ½ C olive oil ¾ C parsley ½ C pine nuts ¾ C cloves garlic ¾ C parmesan salt and pepper to taste Put all together into a blender and blend.
