Wassail 

 Serve (October to April)

8 servings

In cheese cloth or coffee filter

2 cinnamon sticks, 16 whole cloves, 1 teaspoon allspice ½ teaspoon ground ginger

In percolator

2 cups cranberry juice  6 cups apple juice   option ¼ cup rum

Simply run the juices through the spices.   This recipe can be doubled and the spices frozen for a second use. (I generally will add a fresh teaspoon of allspice.)

Brewed wassail can be store in the refrigerator and warmed in the microwave.
