Shorty’s Best Apple Pie

Two pie pastries (one for bottom and top)

5 –6 tart apples

1 cup sugar

3 TBSP flour

1 cup sour cream

cinnamon sugar


Peel and slice apples.  Combine with sugar, flour and sour cream.  Place in unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle top with cinnamon sugar.  Top with pastry.  Cut 8 slits in top.  Sprinkle again with cinnamon sugar.  Bake at 350 F for about 50 minutes, until golden brown.
