Libby’s Famous Pumpkin Pie Recipe

2 eggs slightly beaten                            ¾ cup sugar                  ½ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups Libby’s pumpkin                    ½ teaspoon ginger        1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 2/3 cup evaporated milk                    ¼ teaspoon cloves        1 9” un baked pie shell


Mix filling ingredients in order given.  Pour into pie shell.  Bake in preheated hot oven 425 F for 15 minutes.  Reduce temperature to moderate 350 F and continue baking for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into center of filling comes out clean.


Serving suggestions:  Garnish pie with whipped cream, toasted coconut, chopped nuts, wedges of sharp cheddar cheese or slivered candied ginger.
